Interpretation is essential in tour guiding services and it formed by guides’ information. The body of the literature has examined interpretation information-giver role various aspects. However, tourists’ questions, as a component guide-tourist interaction interpretation, are under-studied. Hence, this empirical research aims to identify questions directed guides Türkiye. It also examines perceptions their geographic origin. Additionally, strategies handle challenging were clarified. 13 interviewed conduct qualitative findings reveal that related Geography, Islam religion, History Anatolia, Sociocultural settings, Socioeconomic infrastructure Therefore, study contributes current knowledge offers framework for relevant perceptions, strategies. Finally, provides recommendations practitioners policy-makers.
